Pg 5: Below is a timeline of the Farm's readings and live presentations. Playwrights never pay a penny and receive commissions for their work. Too many shows open on Broadway after spending a lot of money on sets and costumes but little time testing the material. We started with writers recommended to us because they had playwriting talents. Yes, our playwrights rock! We believe that by seeing and hearing their work over time, they can make a good play great, and a commercial hit. If you would like to be invited to one of our "test readings or workshops" just email us. And please: There are 3 ways you can help our writers and shareholders achieve success:
1. Find a non-profit theater to further develop one or more of these original works
2. Find us an independent producer (you?) to take over the reins of any one show
3. Become a "shareholder" in The Farm. $5,000 per share. The Farm maintains an ownership piece of all 9 of our projects and you will "own" a piece of the Farm.
